Among the many components making up your Acura RSX AC system is the Acura RSX A/C condenser. The condenser can be found towards the front of your car, placed just in front of the radiator. However, you should familiarize yourself with the condenser’s appearance, because the radiator is similar to the condenser in its form. This is how your Acura RSX A/C condenser works:

The A/C condenser discharges heat gathered by the refrigerant coming from inside the car, into the air outside. Lacking heat results in a huge temperature plunge in the refrigerant, and this process is what causes the gas to change into liquid. For an efficient heat exchange, the car must employ the use of a cooling fan (mechanical or electric kind), or the vehicle should be kept in motion, to ease adequate airflow for the condenser’s fins.

Regular inspections over your entire climate control system should be done. Knowing the state of each part on your AC system in advance and proper upkeep will not only give your car durability in the long run, but you’ll be saving money from sudden repairs and replacements. Air conditioner units are especially crucial, particularly during the hot summer months, so it is advisable to keep tabs on them frequently.
